We came a bit too early for their lunch menu, which starts at 11:00, but we weren't disappointed at all. We ordered from their cafe menu and tried their apple pie, their tea and fig pound cake, and their mascarpone ice cream cake. All three were good. The apple pie was mellow with cinnamon and a custard layer at the bottom. The fig and tea pound cake wasn't too sweet, and the slightly bitter tea in it complimented the moist cake, while the mascarpone ice cream cake was light, with caramelized nuts inside it and pistachio crumble on top. The atmosphere was very welcoming, jazz playing in the background and sunlight coming in from the numerous windows. Would love to come back and try their lunch menu.

Welcoming and unique Café/Dinner spot/exhibition space in Kamakura. A stone throw away from overcrowded streets, you can find this (more) hidden gem. We enjoyed our afternoon here to the fullest.

How come this With Kamakura is 4.2? Believe in me that this place is worth much more than 4.2. The staff are very kind and helpful (stylish and pretty too). Coffee was normal, but the ice cream cake was something else. Price is reasonable, and the atmosphere of the cafe was amazing. It's got traditional Japanese style and somehow European style combinations (I mean pretty modern as well). Strongly recommend, and I shall visit again.

Escape the hordes at lunch time. Delicious meal in a lovely log house. Relaxing atmosphere overlooking a green garden. We were given a choice of lunch sets with hamburg steak or salmon. Both were delicious. The larger lunch set also included more side plates and a beef stew. The salmon steak had a mushroom sauce which I thought was unnecessary and very rich. You could have as much miso soup and rice as you wanted. The smoothies were tasty too. They only had one mens and one ladies bathroom so the line could be a little slow if the restaurant is full. There was also a small selection of cakes which we didn't order because we were full from lunch. Alcoholic drinks were also available. There was a shop with kids clothes. English menu was not available.

A very peaceful little place in the middle of the residential area and walking distance from Hasedera Temple. There is a fixed menu choice of either Hamburg or Smoked Salmon but you can choose a normal or imperial set which will give different kind of side dishes. I had the smoked salmon imperial set for 2,500yen. Salmon skin is super crispy topped with amazing mushroom sauce, with many sides such as stew meat (probably beef), salad, veges, tofu, miso, rice and a drink. I must give kudos to the tofu because it’s the tastiest tofu I ever had in my life. It is definitely handmade and you can taste the soybean as compared to the store bought type that loses the taste. Overall atmosphere is nice, not noisy as there is not much tourist at the time i went (Thursday, 12pm). Menu might change for each day.
